Highland Community Church Youth (grade 6 - 12) Programs
Highland's vision for youth ministry involves:
- Youth who are passionate for Christ, living out their faith, growing in God, and who desire to reach the lost.
- An atmosphere of godliness, fellowship, and fun, balancing biblical growth with outreach.
- Student involvement, leading to steady group growth and leadership development.
- Open, accepting, Christ-like relationships.
Our Youth Ministry is characterized by:
- Christ-Centeredness. We focus on Christ and on spiritual growth in everything.
- Godly Leaders. Leaders are dedicated to the ministry, have the desire to work with youth, and live their lives in relationship with Christ, living a life that is pleasing to God.
- An atmosphere in which the best interest of the youth is always paramount.

| Fair Clean-up and Fair Gate Fundraiser |
These fundraising activities are a GREAT way for youth and entire families to serve the community by helping out with different aspects of the WI Valley Fair 4-H Fair and to raise funds for youth events at Highland at the same time. Fair Clean-up participants meet at the grandstands of the fairgrounds at Marathon Park at 6:30 a.m. each day of the fair to have fun (yes it is possible to work and have fun) cleaning the grandstand area. Breakfast is then served back at the church for anyone participating. Smoothies anyone? Fair Gate workers sign-up to work a 4 hour shift at the 17th Avenue fair gate (collecting money) and everyone participating in these fundraisers receives free admission to the fair on the days they work.

| Youth Cake Auction |
Youth make a cake and a poster detailing items that they have solicited from businesses in order to make a complete "cake package". In the past, these packages have included hotel stays, baby sitting, golfing passes, sports tickets, hunting trips, sports memorabilia, and stampin parties to mention a few. The youth provide a soup lunch and everyone is invited to stay for lunch and the auction that follows. There are also silent auction items available for everyone's price range. This is fun fundraiser for the whole family. This event occurs in March of every year.
