Highland Community Church...Helping you take the next step in your relationship with God

At Highland, we have a heart for those outside our congregation, and as part of our church's broader purpose statement, we seek to reach both our local and global community for Christ. We do that both by supporting organizations that have the same heart and vision as we do, and by sending individuals and teams out to share the love of Jesus Christ and the message of forgiveness we can have through Him. Our youth group will often take annual trips to the Dominican Republic or to Chicago to minister in the inner city. We also send individuals and adult teams not only to the Dominican Republic, but also to other areas of the world. We support a number of missionaries and ministries that cannot be listed here for security reasons. Highland's missions ministry team meets monthly, usually the first Sunday of the month, and anyone interested in missions ministry is welcome to attend.

Hedemarrie Florez with the Evangelical Free Church Missions (EFCM) in Costa Rica

Hedemarrie is involved in the administration of the EFCM Latin American Training Network in San Jose, Costa Rica. She has a heart for launching church planting movements in Latin America and for reaching the Latin American people.
Clinica Cristiana de Salud Integral, San Juan de la Maguana, Dominican Republic

The Clinic has been constructed to provide for the medical and spiritual needs of the people of the San Juan Valley, Dominican Republic. It also operates the Christian Center of Education for Development, a Pre-K through grade 12 school with over 900 students. Sponsorships, at $22 a month, enable a child to receive sound Biblical and academic instruction, complete medical and dental care, and a nutritious lunch every school day.
Gideons International

The Gideons International is a Christian Business and Professional men's organization involved in distributing Bibles in 176 countries. The last three years eight million free copies of the Bible were distributed to recipients. The Bibles given to people are printed in 75 different languages.
We also support additional missionaries in restricted access countries.

Ray is the Director of Church Planting for the Forest Lakes District of the Evangelical Free Churches of American located in Stevens Point, WI. He has a goal of planting 100 new churches in the district within the next ten years.
Reverend Don Price with Forest Lakes District

Don is the Director of Church Health of the Forest Lakes District of the Evangelical Free Churches of America. His role is to help the EFCA churches in Wisconsin and the upper peninsula of Michigan to be healthy churches keeping God's word central with passionate spirituality, loving relationships, fruitful evangelism, and intentional disciple making.
