Administration's Purpose

Administration's purpose is to facilitate the mission and vision of Highland by providing administrative leadership and support to the ministries of Highland. We also provide support, service and communication to the church body and to those requesting information outside of the Body. God has positioned Highland uniquely for high impact ministry. It is our desire to do all things with excellence, working diligently, and for the glory of God.

Church Office	The church office is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm during the school year and 7:30 am - 4:00 pm in the summer. Highland's voice mail system allows messages to be left for individual staff members at any time of day or night and also allows 24 hour access to our service times and events of the church. top
Facility and Grounds	The Facility Manager, Jim Popp, works alongside a variety of volunteers and two part-time employees to finish new projects and maintain the current building and grounds of the church. Highland has been blessed with men, women, and families who are willing to serve together weeding flower beds, mowing grass, painting rooms, and using their talents to serve in this area. top
Tapes and CD's	Tapes and CD's of recent past sermons (and sermon series) are available daily in both lobbies of the church. Requests for specific sermons can be made by filling out the forms located in each lobby. Currently the sermons are duplicated on Thursday afternoons and are available after that time. Sermons also appear on this website for a limited time. top
Publications	Highland's bimonthly newsletter, called The Shofar, contains Christian articles, events and activities of Highland, and updates on the many ministries of Highland. This publication is laid out and edited by a volunteer. Highland's Writer's Group is made up of people from all different backgrounds, writing styles and church families. This group meets once per month and publishes a quarterly newsletter containing their member's poems, stories and other writings. The weekly bulletin is distributed Sunday mornings. This contains information vital to the activities of the upcoming week. Bulletins for the past two weeks are available in the literature racks located in both of Highland's lobbies. Ministry brochures are available in the literature racks located in both lobbies of the church and help explain a specific ministry's vision and current activities. top
Volunteer Secretaries	The servant's heart of the volunteer secretaries at Highland is always evident in the work they carry out. Some of the secretaries come in for a few hours each week to help out with specific tasks such as photocopying for Sunday school. Others are able to work from their homes on projects. Whatever the method, the volunteer secretaries are a vital part of Highland's structure. top
